A short stroll around the quaint streets of Ennis will quickly explain the town's longstanding status as the Boutique Capital of Ireland. Ennis is chock-full of independent stores boasting twenty-two women's boutiques alone, not to mention a whole host of fabulous jewellers, shoe shops, menswear and children's boutiques.
And if you still need a reason to come and see for yourself, then save the date, November 5th, for Ennis Fashion & Wellness, a celebration of style and well-being in the Boutique Capital of Ireland.
PROGRAMME
11 am - 1.30 pm | FASHION SHOW & BRUNCH - Tickets €45
The day-long event on November 5th will kick off at 11 am with brunch in Ennis's hottest new venue, The Monks Society. (formerly Cloisters Restaurant). This will be followed by a fashion show, where Lorraine Keane and Laura Jordan will discuss the latest trends and style tips and introduce highlights of the season from over 16 participating Ennis Boutiques.
12.30 pm - 1.30 pm | FASHION SHOW - Tickets €20
If you would like to attend just the Fashion Show, it will take place at 12.30pm, in the same place - The Monks Society. From 12.30 to 1.30 pm, Lorraine Keane and stylist, Laura Jordan will discuss the latest trends and style tips and introduce highlights of the season from over 16 participating Ennis Boutiques.
1 pm - 5 pm | IN-STORE EXPERIENCE - Admission Free!
Following the fashion show, visitors can enjoy a wide range of events, entertainment and promotions taking place in boutiques throughout the town.
The jam-packed itinerary will include a Body Confidence Workshop, four mini fashion shows, A clothing care demonstration, styling workshops, free gifts and lots more. Keep an eye on our social media for updates!

- 1:30 - 3 pm | Orthotics Demonstration | Carmody Shoes - Dr. Heather Thompson will be available to demonstrate the Gaitscan technology and answer any questions concerning foot health and its relationship with back pain, footwear, chiropractic, and TOG prescription orthotics.

The Sex and Wellness panel will be staged in the Old Ground Hotel from 5 to 7 pm. Lorraine Keane will host a high-profile panel including writer and broadcaster Barbara Scully; Dr. Mary Ryan Consultant Endocrinologist in the Bons Secours, Dr. Maire Finn, GP focused on Women's health and wellbeing; and Grace Alice O'Shea, sex and intimacy expert. The lively and informative discussion will focus on women's hormone health and sexual well-being. There will be a Wine Reception at the beginning.

Grace Alice Ó Shea is a sex & intimacy specialist, author and Kerrywoman. She is trained as a sex educator, intimacy coach and occupational therapist, completing her studies in UCC and NUIG before joining the sexuality field 7 years ago. Grace is particularly passionate about empowering women to have happier, healthier and more fulfilling experiences of sex, pleasure, intimacy, connection, relationships and body image.

Laura Jordan is a Dublin-based fashion stylist and owner of StyleSavvy®, Ireland's only full-service Style & Image Consultancy, through which she specialises in Personal Shopping & Styling for private and media clients, as well as personal branding seminars and professional image consultations, advising the staff of some of the largest corporate organisations in Irish industry. Clients include AIB, Slack, Sherry FitzGerald, Indeed, Just Eat, LinkedIn, Lidl and Northern Trust and others.

Lorraine Keane is an IFTA award-winning broadcaster, and Journalist, businesswoman and Women's Health Advocate. Best known for her work as an entertainment correspondent for TV3, she was the anchor for the popular fashion and celebrity lifestyle show. As a Cleanmarine ambassador Lorraine has a keen interest in Women's hormone health and in managing perimenopause naturally.

Newstalk's Agony Aunt, columnist and broadcaster, Barbara Scully writes opinions on different topics, such as political issues and family life for the Irish independent. She recently launched her down-to-earth memoir-cum-self-help book "Wise Up: Power, Wisdom and the Older Woman". Wise Up is a combination of memoir with a dollop of social history and looks at how older women are not valued or celebrated in our society. It is also a long essay on how life after Menopause can be so delicious.

Dr. Mary Ryan is a consultant endocrinologist at the Bons Secour, providing outpatient care and inpatient consultations for patients with diabetes mellitus and general endocrine disorders. She has a long interest in women’s health and has been involved in a nationwide lecture series for the last two years on educating women on menopause.

Dr Máire Finn is originally from Wexford and has been a GP in Ennis since 1998. As a family Doctor she has developed a holistic approach to whole family health but has a special interest in female issues. She has been doing a regular medical segment on Clare FM for the last 10 years and has recently joined the RTE Séan O’ Rourke Show team. She lives with her two children and dogs.
